How do I stack large widgets iOS 14?

You add that stack the same way you’d add any widget:

  1. Long press on your home screen and tap the plus icon in the upper-left corner.
  2. Scroll down until you see the widget called “Smart Stack”
  3. As with the other widgets, scroll sideways to choose the size you want, and then tap “Add Widget”

The easiest way to create a Smart Stack is to drag and drop a Widget onto another Widget of the same size. This creates a stack. To enable dragging, one must press and hold anywhere on a Home Screen page until the contents shake.

Choose a widget size (“Small,” “Medium,” or “Large”), and then tap “Add Widget.” Now that your first widget is on the screen, it’s time to add another one. You can only stack widgets that are the same size.

While Android doesn’t support the ability to stack widgets on top of each other like iOS, there might just be a way to replicate the functionality with third-party Action Launcher, … With iOS 14, however, Apple added limited widget support, which actually has a cool ability to ‘stack’ over each other.

How to add a smart stack to your iPhone’s home screen

  1. Go to the page on your iPhone where you’d like to add a smart stack, and then tap and hold any blank spot on the screen until the icons start to jiggle. …

  3. In the Widget pop-up, scroll down and tap “Smart Stack.”

How to Add Widgets to Android

  1. Press and hold a blank spot on your home screen until a menu pops up at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Choose Widgets and scroll through the available options.
  3. Touch and hold the widget you want to add.
  4. Drag and drop it onto a free space on your home screen.

Click the Swipe widget icon on the upper left corner of the map to turn the widget on and off. When the widget is turned on, move the mouse over the widget icon to select a layer to swipe from the drop-down list. Only the layer visible on the map can take effect with the swipe tool.

Touch and hold an app or shortcut. Drag that app or shortcut on top of another. Lift your finger. To add more, drag each one on top of the group.

Tap on the + icon in the top-left corner of the screen and then scroll through the list of available widgets. Locate one of the widgets you want to include in your personalized stack. You can either drag and drop the widget to your screen or tap on the + at the top of the screen.
